Ready, Steady, Cook

We're coming to the start of Spring and looking forward to getting outside more. But being indoors doesn't mean we can't try something different. We decided to have another round of Ready, Steady Cook but SAS style, that meant we had to get everything we neded by using our wits. We started off the game with a magnet and three pieces of string. We had to fish for penny coins so we could buy provisions from the Quartermaster. The price list looked like this: - Candles 5p each Baseboard 5p each Wire 2p a length Metal Tray 2p each Tomato Pasta 5p packet Chicken Rice 5p packet Pasta 5p packet Matches 2p each

Not only did we have to cook the food we had to make the cookers! All the patrols managed to complete the tasks. BULLDOGS must have been really hungry because they bought and cooked three meals!! The only problem was the smoke from the candles . . . at least we know the smoke detectors in the hut work!
