Winter Camp 2007

The Troop decide they wanted to go back to Belchamps for their Winter Activity Camp in 2007. Last year we took four Scouts this year we had twelve!
The weather was more Spring like and a few degrees warmer than 2006
We ran a Pocket Knife, Saw and Hand Axe course for the Scouts so they could gain their certificate. After the evening meal on Saturday we all went to the Campfire circle for a sing-song. This year Hawley performed the Shark Attack song.
There was a vast selection of activities to take part in or try out. Our favourite new activity was the Bucking Bronco. The camp record for the weekend was 7 seconds on Level 3. We managed Level 1!

On Sunday afternoon there was a closing ceremony in the campfire circle.
Our Scouts went in for a lot of the competitions and we took first place in the under 11 Scalectrix car race. Well Done !!!
